Hi! My name is Catia Teixeira, I'm Portuguese from the small island of Madeira, but have grown up in the UK in Wales.

I graduated with a 2:1 in BA Combined Honours Classical Studies and French from the University of Exeter, UK. I am passionate about history, especially ancient history (Ancient Greece and Rome) and Medieval History. I love reading all sorts of books and just wish I had more time for them!

After spending a year in France, working as an Au Pair, Technical Translator and Customer Service Representative, I felt it was time to move on to other things. So I went to sunny Lagos, Portugal so as to update and practice my Portuguese and after much consideration I have decided to go back to the UK and hopefully find work as a translator/interpreter, well anything that uses languages really.
